To apply to join the group, please complete and submit the application form below. 

What are we looking for? 

• We want to be able to get a feel for you as a writer and what you can bring to our group 

• We want to assess how we can support you to develop your work and creative writing skills

• It isn’t about perfection, it’s a chance for us to see if we’re a good home for your writing 

Providing a sample of your writing: 

To demonstrate your commitment to writing, we ask you to provide a brief introduction to yourself, what you would like to achieve by joining the group, and a sample of your work. 

• This can be in any genre or style, but it should be a piece that you believe represents you and your writing style

• There aren’t any word count restrictions, but we recommend a sample of around 500-1000 words

• Samples can be self-contained pieces, such as a short story, or a section from a longer piece of work
